Welcome!
My name is Sarah Lindsay I enjoy making cards and other paper craft projects, as well as occasionally playing with UTEE (Ultra Thick Embossing Enamel).
I have decided to start up another blog so I can share my non Stampin' Up! crafts with you, I am still really new to blogging and everything so forgive me if some things are a bit out of place!
Also if there are any things I can improve on then please leave me a comment or use the contact form on the right hand side.

So I recently went to the Ally Pally craft show on the 9th April and found some lovely stamps in which I just had to have! Also learnt new techniques and met some famous faces, such as Phill Martin, Leonie Pujol and many more!
I bought a few stamps, but will show them in different posts, the first one I will show is the 'Turn me on' stamp set by Lawn Fawn. I love their stamps as some of them can be funny, simple or kinda cute, and just make a different card to some of the usual floral ones out there.
So this is the card I made below with the stamp set:
It is quite a simple and basic card, no matting or layering, but sometimes in the past I have made some very detailed cards. They have maybe had too much going on as I have wanted to try out loads of stamps and techniques all on one card, so nowadays I am trying to reign myself in!
So the bulb outlines, inside bit of the bulb that looks like a heart and the faces are all seperate stamps. So I can change or remove the faces, and so on with the rest, which is why I like this stamp set.
I have cut out the different elements and stuck them onto the card with foam tape to give it a bit of a lift off the page and the sentiment is just stamped straight onto the card, however even though I have been stamping for years I still make mistakes and so the crystals are there to cover up the mistake that is why two of them are very close to the sentiment, mmmm..
Well anyways I hope you like the card, and until next time!
Thanks for reading.
